We were looking at the artist Ellen Giggenbach  and had a go at her art. I found it easy to do the water colours. I found it hard to glou the pesis of paper were they needed to go.

Have you ever played Spot it? 

This is a photo of Dev and I playing Spot it. The way you play Spot it is you flip over a card each, then you place the deck down and then flip over the top card.  Then you have to search your card to find the matching picture.

I enjoy playing Spot it because I get to have fun with my friends. The way to win is when there is no more cards the person with the most cards will win.

We were learning about what made a good blog comment. our learning assets were mahi tahi because I was working with Zoe.

I enjoyed reading the comments because some of them  were funny. I found it easy to decide if it was good or not.

We were learning what author's purpose is our learning assets were kairangahau and kaiwhakarite.

I found it easy to answer the questions.

We were learning to make a road safety advertisement with imovie. 

The learning assets where mahi tahi (working together) and kaikorero(share our leaning.  I enjoyed creating the clips with the ipad. I am excited to do fight scenes at Campion college.

I found it hard to agree on what clips to do and to finish on time.

Next time stay focused and manage my time effectively.

Dancing with the stars

School triathlon

 

Yesterday we did our school triathlon.  I was in a team with Jodi and Finn.  I did the biking, Jodi did the running and Finn swum for our team.

I found it easy to catch up to first and second in the biking because I practised in my paddock so that I could get used to biking on the grass.

I found it hard to pass the people in first and second because were so far in front.

I really enjoyed the whole thing.

Comix

Our learning was around chromebook safety and also so we know how to use comix the website.

I found it easy to come up with a topic for our comic because I was working with Ashton.

I found it hard to come up with a situation for our character.

Michael bio poem

 

We were learning about how to write a bio poem. We had to use a template to structure our writing.

I found it easy to use the template to help structure my writing and I also found it easy to make the picture.

I found it hard to think of some of the sentence endings.

I really enjoyed creating the background.

Next time I need to get my learning done in the time given to me.
